The H20-120 Compact liquid cooling kit is featured in Tom's Hardware system builder Marathon
"we can't possibly overstress the value of a high-end case and cooling configuration for turning a run-of-the-mill performance system into a dream machine. To be quite honest, the liquid-cooled case of our previous high-end machine would have been more valuable as scrap metal - it is in no way comparable to the quality of Silverstone's Temjin TJ09, and the functionality of our custom-selected Swiftech liquid cooling kit...Swiftech's liquid cooling kit fits it perfectly, requiring no drilling or other modifications, and everything tucks neatly inside the case for easy transport and a clean appearance." March 2008 "Swiftech H2O-220 Compact liquid-cooling system has certainly made the most favorable impression. I don’t think I have to repeat that the cooling efficiency of this system is far beyond any competition against mass production liquid-cooling solutions " March 2008 Dual quad-core H20-220 cooled " Skulltrail" system review at Motherboards.org Intel's Q6600 Quad Core at 4 Ghz with the H20-220 Compact! "It is without a doubt, Swiftech has taken a solid product [the H20-120 Compact] and vastly improved it for higher powered quad core systems. We have definitely broached ground that is untouchable by air. And to make the deal even sweeter, the H2O-220 Compact is only marginally more expensive than the 120, running about $40 more. If you are looking for an easy way to introduce yourself to the world of water cooling, this is hands down the best way to do it." January 2008 "If you want a liquid cooling system that is functional, flexible and able to be customized to whatever your needs may be, Swiftech is your kind of company. This system uses a self-powered Apogee drive water-block combined with a triple radiator, three fans and dual Stealth VGA coolers. This was done in order to make one bad ass liquid cooled super system based on NVIDIA’s SLI platform." November 2007 "After all the factors are considered, is the Swiftech H20-120 Compact a great product? We think it is. We also think it's not for everyone, but we believe it's just perfect for the right person who is looking to try out water cooling with a system that gives them everything they need to get started while allowing for expansion in the future. "At 7V, the [H20-120 Compact] fan is practically silent, and can successfully cool a heavily overclocked and overvolted quad-core CPU. This is overkill for a dual-core CPU ... unless you simply fancy having water cooling. The H2O 120 Compact is definitely worth considering for an overclocked quad-core CPU, however, as it's quieter than any high-performance HSF. It's also far easier to install than most water-cooling kits, and noticeably cheaper too." - September 2007 ".. reducing the [H20-120 Compact] amount of components has resulted in the easiest water cooling install I have ever done. Even more important, the easy install and advanced component integration do not hurt performance at all; in fact, the performance is great. The Compact kit outperforms not only every air cooler I have tested to date, but bests both the Gigabyte Galaxy II as well as the more expensive FreeZone hybrid. The value is a winner as well, to buy all the comparable components separately runs about $200. So here is the bottom line: if you are looking for more performance, a decent price, and have it all in an easy to maintain package, the H20-120 Compact is the right kit for you" - September 2007 "The MCW6500-T is a nice product, and it definitely cools better than any other water block out there" August 2007 "The Swiftech H20-120 Compact Water Cooling combines the waterblock and pump together and the radiator and reservoir together. This simplifies the traditional four-component loop into just two-components. This reduces the space required for installation and it tremendously simplifies the installation process over most water cooling kits. The combination of high quality components sets this kit apart from others in the same category. While this kit will not outperform some of the four-component water cooling systems, it will outperform air coolers by a long shot. Watch the video to find out more and check out the bloopers at the end." August 2007
"Bottom line, one has to admit that this [H20-120-Compact] kit is convincing. But this comes as no surpise from a company such as Swiftech. It is extremely compact yet offers first rate performance which is quite rare[..]Installation is very easy[..]Performance wise the kit surpases the best aircoolers available at the moment[..]where our QX6850 was stagnating at 3.74Mhz with air cooling, it allowed us to push it to 4 GHz" August 2007 "This [H20-120-Compact] kit has proven itself to offer one of the best Convenience-Performance Index - meaning that the amount of performance you get for the amount of effort put in set-up is humongous. This should come as a delight for anyone who's fretting over cooling performance and yet wary to take the plunge into water-cooling due to effort involved, space constraints, or money investment. This contraption is certainly worth it's salt and the claims it make are not exaggerated - Water Cooling has never been this easy!" August 07 Tom's hardware takes Intel's E6750 beyond 4 Ghz with Swiftech liquid cooling components "Thanks to overclocking guru and Swiftech marketing representative Eric Kronies, we received the firm's highest-capacity Apogee GTX LGA775 water block, triple 120 mm fan radiator, MCP-655b water pump, and a bottle of its HydrX coolant additive..I'd like to extend our special thanks to [..] Swiftech for providing the industry-leading components needed to extract the highest possible performance from these platforms. [..] Swiftech's leadership in CPU liquid cooling is rarely rivaled, and heat management was a critical factor in reaching our processor's highest speed." July 2007 "The H20-220 Apex Ultra is aimed at overclockers and people who want the best there is when using a dual 120mm radiator... it's well worth the money. Craftmanship and quality are the two reasons you might want to go with something like this. .. the new Apogee GT block not only looks nice, it performs great too! And installation was a breeze." July 2007 "The Apogee GT is not only a block - it is a clear statement from Swiftech that it wants to improve its products and do better than the competition...At the moment, this block is my clear choice for today's hot-running quad core CPUs." June 2007 "Swiftech and Danger Den Water Cooling for Geforce 8800 Series"
"The MCW-60 from Swiftech is by far the best performing water block we tested yet, people aiming for lowest temps should definitely go for it." June 2007 The MCW60 takes the Gold Performance Tag! "In our situation, the bowed Apogee GT had an improvement of an average 5.67°C over the flat Apogee GT on an overclocked ..Definitely recommended for the water-cooling enthusiast and those looking to push the extra edge.. " May 07 Swiftech sponsors overclocking seminars at Micro Centers! Eric Kronies, AKA Oppainter will give his first overclocking seminar on the opportunity of Micro Center's s grand opening of their North New Jersey store on May 11.
"The Apogee™ GT is a very good waterblock, and even more with the second provided o-ring.. One cannot really find any flaw with this product. It ensures its mission well, it is very evolutionary and does better than its predecessors. What to else to ask for? " "Legit Bottom Line: When it comes to water cooling your Intel Kentsfield processor the Swiftech Apogee™ GT shows us that you don't always have to spend a lot of money to get the best performance." February 2007 "There are many good things about this cooling system and case combination that will make it great for many different users and applications...The Swiftech Quiet Power P180 is silent running, it keeps your CPU running very cool in most instances and is ergonomic to the end user installing his/her system...I was very happy with the P180 and it's now the case I use for my business and development system. For what the unit is intended for, the Swiftech Quiet Power P180 covers its bases and runs silent like a deep sea nuclear submarine. I give this product an Editors Choice Award due to the fact that after a few weeks of having a silent PC, my other systems sound like a noise pollution dump in comparison, silence is golden once you get used to it trust me. Good job Swiftech! " January 2007 "The Swiftech [Apogee™] series has been the favorite water cooling systems the world over. They always work hard to give you the best bang for buck in terms of performance and design. The Apogee™ GT is proof that Swiftech always find a way to improve the near perfect. The Diamond Pin Matrix revisions as well as some all around polishing and surface increase performance all over the cooling spectrum. The benchmarks and testing reflect excellent results that exceeded expectations." January 2007 "Overall this MCW60-T water block has impressed me performance wise, and by it's superior built quality. Swiftech has really made a decent water block for anyone willing to go the extra step and push their video card to the next level." January 2007 "..if you're in the market for a new case and noise levels and cooling performance are important to you, the Swiftech Quiet Power P180 is worth a serious look. The case looks great and would be at home in your living room as a HTPC or your office and it offers great cooling performance at extremely low noise levels." January 2007
"The rather minor re-engineering of the original Apogee™ has resulted in an approximate 6% (0.160 °C/W vs. 0.170 °C/W) decrease in thermal resistance. Don't let this fool you though as this is rather significant and is the equivalent of a 2°C drop in full load temperatures at a modest 200W TDP. "The Apogee™ GT by Swiftech seems to be the new performance Champion from the company, offering good performance under high heat loads, seemingly and probably designed to tame highly overclocked Quad Core Processors... The package design is good such that you can switch out Hose Barbs for different sizes to fit changing loops and all sizes come with the package at the start. Good work on Swiftech's part at improving performance over their best-selling Storm Waterblock by 4C... " January 2007
