MCW6000™ & MCW6002™CPU Cooler Reviews

"Well this [MCW6002-64] waterblock really does its job even though it's very small compared to traditional waterblocks. Pricewise it's not to bad as this sells for around 40$ which is actually lower than many blocks out there. I think the numbers speak for themselves and this is a high quality product as usual from Swiftech so you will have some fun when overclocking with this waterblock. We give this 5 out of 5 and our recommendations for a high quality waterblock." December 2003

MCW6000 vs Asetek Antartica

"Once again, Swiftech has proven themselves as innovators of simpler and more affordable yet better performing cooling solutions with their release of the MCW6000. In the end, while both blocks performed very well, I'd have to give the Insanetek "MUST HAVE" award to the MCW6000™, due to its simpler 2 barb design, as well as for the use of the existing motherboard bracket for easier installation" - September 2004

"The MCW6000™ performs a full 2C better than its predecessor over all flow rates [..] The low flow rate performance (0.75GPM and less) of the MCW6000-A is the best I've seen in my testing [..] At higher flow rates, the MCW6000-A™ performance [..] remains competitive with the best waterblocks available. Considering this block's low price ($39.99US), excellent construction/finish, and outstanding performance, I can recommend the Swiftech MCW6000-A™ to all Procooling readers without reservation." "Swiftech's MCW6000 Waterblock is a very good choice for CPU cooling; the MCW6000 should perform well with moderate-high power waterpumps" May 2004

"I have never seen such a small difference between idle and load temperatures in my entire career of overclocking. There is one small explanation for this, and its reflected from Swiftech's overall design that actually is quite simple. Hold the water inside the block without hampering overall flow. Despite its 3/8in input and output's the MCW6000™ is more than adequate for just about anyone. Once again Swiftech has concurred to its own purpose to provide an excellent cooling solution, and at a low cost to the Overclocker! Good Job Swiftech!! "
